22.2 IP Static Route Screen

Click Network > Static Route to open the IP Static Route screen.Figure 117 Network > Static Route

Route NameEnter a the name that describes or identifies this route.

 

 

Destination IPEnter the IP network address of the final destination.

Address

 

 

 

IP Subnet

This is the subnet to which the route’s final destination belongs.
Netmask

 

 

 

Gateway IP

Enter the IP address of the gateway.

Address

 

 

 

MetricAssign a number to identify the route.

 

 

Interface

Select the interface through which the traffic is routed.

 

 

Add RuleClick this to add the IP static route.

 

 

Application Rules Summary

 

 

No.This is the number of an individual static route.

 

 

Active

The rules are always on and this is indicated by the icon.

 

 

Name

This is the name that describes or identifies this route.

 

 

Destination

This parameter specifies the IP network address of the final destination. Routing is

 

always based on network number.

 

 

Gateway

This is the IP address of the gateway. The gateway is a router or switch on the

 

same network segment as the device's LAN or WAN port. The gateway helps

 

forward packets to their destinations.

 

 

Metric

This is the number assigned to the route.

 

 

Delete

Click the Delete icon to remove a static route from the NBG4615. A window

 

displays asking you to confirm that you want to delete the route.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
