Change of oil filter

Replace oil filter every 200 operating hours. Drain oil first using the plug on the filter base. Remove the old filter using an oil filter tool. Lightly coat rubber gasket with new oil, then install filter by turning it to the right until hand tight. Tighten the filter an additional 1/2 turn. Check that the drain plug is reinstalled before starting the engine.

Start engine and check for leakage.

Check the transmission’s oil level

1.Remove the transmission cover. Loosen both screws (one on each side) and lift off the trans- mission cover.

Rider 155 AWD: SAE 10W/40 (class SF–CC).

The oil should be changed by an authorised service workshop, and is described in the Workshop Manual.

The filter is replaced at the same time as changing the oil.

Work on the system entails particular demands on cleanliness and the system must be vented before the machine is used.
