Insert a box spanner or a socket wrench between the through bolt and the rotor shaft, and hit it in a clockwise direction with a hammer to loosen the through bolt, thus keeping a2 3 mm clearance be- tween them.

Hit the through bolt head with a plastic hammer to loosen the crank shaft and the rotor shaft taper. Then remove the rotor. (See Fig.
