Fault Codes

Fault Codes

When a fault occurs, the touch screen displays a message on how to clear the fault.

Some faults indicate customer maintenance, while others require the attention of the Key Operator and/or System Administrator. A table listing fault codes and their corresponding corrective actions is listed in the User Guide on the Documentation CD- ROM or on the website:www.office.xerox.com/support.

Output Quality

Various situations can affect the quality of the output. Check the following conditions to ensure optimum copy performance. If you still cannot resolve the problem, contact the Key Operator.

Do not locate the machine in direct sunlight or near a radiator.

Follow regular maintenance schedules for cleaning areas, such as the document glass, CVT glass and output trays. For more information, refer to the Job Status chapter in the User Guide.
