PAPERFEED button		is released, and will print the vemionnumberof the printer’S

ROM, eg “*** Ver 1.0 ***”, followed by the whole character set printed in each typeface and pitch available.

Since the test print occupies the whole width of the carriage, it is recom- mended that the printer is loaded with continuous stationery to avoid possible darnage to the print head and/or platen. In addition, the total number of lines printed is considerable, more than can be accommodated on a single sheet, so fanfold paper is certainly suggested for this test.
