Operation controls

4.2.1 Operation controls

Lock

unlocks or locks the server.

ON/OFF switch

switches the server to ready-to-operate or on.

The ON/OFF switch and the main switch do not disconnect the server from the line i voltage. To disconnect the line voltage completely, remove the power plug from the

socket.

4.2.2 Indicators

Power-on indicator

lights green when the server is switched on.

IDE busy indicator

lights green when an IDE drive is being accessed.

4.2.3 Drive indicators

Hard disk indicator

Lights when the hard disk drive in this slot is being accessed.

Hard disk error (only in conjunction with disk array controller)

lights, when the hard disk drive in this slot is defective and needs replacing. It is possible, that the drive is not correctly inserted.

flashes when a rebuild is carried out by the disk array controller after a drive has been exchanged.

CD-ROM drive indicator

The indicator lights up when the CD-ROM drive is accessed.

Floppy disk drive indicator

The indicator lights up when the floppy disk drive is being accessed.
