Mouse driver not loaded

ÊCheck whether the mouse driver is properly installed and is present when the application program is started. Detailed information can be found in the User Guides of the mouse, the operating system or the application program.

Mouse controller disabled

The mouse controller on the system board must be enabled, if you use the supplied mouse.

ÊCheck in the BIOS Setup that the mouse controller is Enabled.

7.7The floppy disk cannot be read or written

ÊCheck whether the write protection of the floppy disk is activated.

ÊIn the BIOS Setup check the entry for the floppy disk drive.

ÊCheck in the BIOS Setup whether the diskette drive controller and write permission are enabled (see the Technical Manual for the system board).

ÊCheck that the cables of the floppy disk drive are properly connected (refer to chapter "System components and expansions").

7.8Time and/or date is not correct

ÊSet the time and/or date in the operating system or in the BIOS Setup.

If the time and date are repeatedly wrong when you switch on your server, the battery is

flat. Change the lithium battery as described in the Technical Manual of the system board.

7.9System does not boot

System will not boot after installing a new SCSI hard disk drive.

SCSI configuration incorrect (standard SCSI controller)

ÊIn the SCSI configuration menu check the settings for the hard disk drives (SCSI Device Configuration ) and the settings under Advanced Configuration Options .
