7.2Server switches itself off

Server Management has detected an error

ÊCheck the error list or the ErrorLog file in the ServerView program, and attempt to eliminate the error.

7.3Screen remains blank

Monitor is switched off

ÊSwitch on your monitor.

Screen has gone blank

ÊPress any key on the keyboard. or

ÊDeactivate screen saver. Enter the appropriate password.

Brightness control is set to dark

ÊSet the brightness control on the monitor to light. For detailed information, refer to the operating manual supplied with your monitor.

Power cable or monitor cable not connected

ÊSwitch off the monitor and the server.

ÊCheck whether the power cable is properly connected to the monitor and to the grounded socket.

ÊCheck whether the monitor cable is properly connected to the server and monitor (if it is plugged in with a connector). If a separate graphics card is installed in the server, then the monitor cable must be connected to the graphics card.

ÊSwitch on the monitor and the server.
