8.1.1Remove the dummy module

The mounting location for the second hot-plug power supply unit contains a dummy module. This dummy module must be removed before installing a second power supply unit.

ÊLoosen the fixing screw (1) and remove the dummy module from the second power supply mounting location (2).

VCAUTION!

Store the dummy module in a safe place. If the power supply unit is removed and not replaced with a new unit, the dummy module must be reinstalled due to cooling, to comply with applicable EMC regulations (regulations on electromagnetic compatibility) and to protect against fire.
