Restart Command

When a link is restarted with the Restart command (see Figure 3-8), the TCP/IP connection is closed and a new connection is opened. Closing the TCP/IP connection also causes the DEFINITY LAN Gateway connection to be closed. When the new TCP/IP connection is opened, a new DEFINITY LAN Gateway connection is established.

! CAUTION:

This command is disruptive, and will cause all existing device and call monitors to fail.
