2. Remove the 3 screws.

✽Access screw ➁ through the space between the scanner and the document cover after opening the cover.

Tighten screw ➂ together with the CLAN finger. Use a short screwdriver on screws ➁ and ➂.

3. Remove the CLAN circuit board.

Before installing the CLAN circuit board, check that the OPE cable does not cover the connector for connecting the CLAN circuit board, and then install the circuit board

When installing the CLAN circuit board, press down at the two points indicated by arrows, and then firmly insert the connectors. (Do not touch any soldered areas.)
