*1 • Configure the DHCP server not to assign the same IP addresses used for the other network devices and PCs whose IP address is unique. Refer to the network administrator for further information about the set- tings of the server.

*2 • Do not enter an IP address already in use (for the PCs and the other network devices).

*3 • Multiple IP addresses for the default gateway are unavailable even when using the DHCP function. Refer to the network administrator for further information about the settings of the DHCP server.

*4 • To establish connections beyond the router via an IP address entered manually, use an IPv6 compatible router, and activate the auto configuration function of IP address. In addition, set an IPv6 address includ- ing prefix information given by the IPv6 compatible router.

*5 • Multiple IP addresses for the default gateway are unavailable even when using the DHCP function. Refer to the network administrator for further information about the settings of the DHCP server.

*6 • When using the DHCP function, it is possible to obtain the DNS address automatically by selecting "Auto". Refer to the network administrator for further information about the settings of the DHCP server.

*7 • It is impossible to use both an IPv4 DNS server and an IPv6 DNS server. *8 • The following port numbers are unavailable since they are already in use.
