2.9 Base unit help function

2.10Adjusting handset volume

2.10.1 Ringer volume

4 levels (high/medium/low/off) are available.

Make sure the handset is not being used.

1Press {CONF/FUNCTION}.

2Scroll to “Ringer setting” by pressing {v} or {e}, and press {>}.

3Press {>} at “Ringer volume”.

4Press {v} or {e} to select the desired volume.

5Press the right soft key ({SAVE}).

To turn the ringer OFF

Press {v} repeatedly until “Off ?” is displayed in step 4.

LIf set to OFF, the handset will not ring for

external calls, and for internal calls it will ring at the low level.

LTo turn the ringer back ON, press {e} in step 4.

Note:

LTo adjust the ringer volume for the 2-way radio mode, see page 49.

Ringer tone

LYou can select the handset ringer tone from one of 6 patterns for external calls (page 74).

2.10.2 Handset receiver volume

3 levels (high/medium/low) are available. While using {TALK} or {INTERCOM/TRANSFER}, press {v} or {e}.

2.10.3 Speaker volume

6 levels (high to low) are available.

While using {SP-PHONE}, press {v} or {e}.
