3. Telephone

To print automatically after every 30 new calls, activate feature #26 (page 71).

Call Waiting Caller ID feature

If you subscribe to both Caller ID and Call Waiting services, when a second call is received during a conversation, you will hear a call-waiting tone and the display will show the second caller’s information.

Press {FLASH/CALL WAIT} to answer the second call.

LThe first call is put on hold and you can answer the second call.

LTo return to the first caller, press

{FLASH/CALL WAIT} again.

Note:

LThe second caller’s information will not be displayed when:

the first call is placed on hold.

the answering machine is recording an incoming message,

an extension telephone on the same line is in use, or

you are sending or receiving a fax

document.

3.9Viewing and calling back using caller information

Using caller information, you can easily see who has called you and return their calls.

Important:

LCalling back will not be possible if the caller information does not include a telephone number.

3.9.1 With the handset

The unit will tell you how any calls you missed while you were out or unavailable to answer the phone.

2Press {v} to search from the most recently received caller information.

L If you press {e}, the display order will be reversed.

3Press {TALK} or {SP-PHONE}to return the call.

L The unit will start dialing automatically.
