9.6Document jams (Auto document feeder)

Caution:

LDo not pull out the jammed document forcibly before lifting the ADF cover.

When the document has jammed near the document exit:

Press the ADF cover release button (1) and open the middle part (2) of the ADF cover. Remove the jammed document (3) carefully.

3Close the ADF cover.

1Hold the ADF cover firmly and lift it to open the upper part (1) of the ADF cover.

2When the document has jammed near the document entrance:

Remove the jammed document (1) carefully.
