9.5.1When the recording paper has jammed inside of the unit

The display will show the following.

OPEN TOP COVER

Caution:

LDo not pull out the jammed paper forcibly before opening the top cover.

1Lift the top cover release lever (1) and open the top cover (2).

Important:

L Close the manual input tray (3) before opening the top cover.

Caution:

The fuser unit (4) gets hot. Do not touch it.

Note:

LDo not touch the transfer roller (5).
