2.3 Connecting the Power Cord
This section describes how to connect the Power Cord and turn the printer on or off.
Precautions
•As a Power Cord is not supplied with the printer, please purchase an approved on that meets the safety standard of each country. Refer to Section 15. POWER CORD.
•Ensure that an AC outlet is located near the installation location of the printer and that it allows for the easy plugging and unplugging of the Power Cord. Do not place any obstacles around the AC outlet.
•Make sure that the printer is connected to a clean source of AC power and that no other high voltage devices that may cause line noise interference are connected to the same mains. Otherwise, this may affect the operation of the printer.
1. Make sure that the printer Power Switch is in the OFF ( ) position.

2.Completely plug the Power Cord into the AC Power Inlet at the back of the printer.
3.Plug the other end of the Power Cord into a grounded outlet as far as it will go.
