11.2Cleaning the Platen

1.Turn off the power and unplug the printer.

2.Open the Front Cover, Side Cover, and Upper Unit.

3.Wipe the rubber part of the Platen with a soft dry cloth to remove dirt or paper particles.

Precautions

Do not scratch the Platen using any sharp objects, as this may cause a print failure or printer trouble.
