2. PRINTER SETUP

2.4Connecting the Printer (with a USB Interface) to Your Computer

1.Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the USB Interface Connector at the back of the printer.

2.Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port of your computer.

Supplemental Remarks

If a USB cable other than the supplied one or other USB devices are used, choose USB 2.0-compatible products.

Pay attention to the orientation of the connector when connecting the USB cable.

It is not guaranteed that the printer functions in combination with any other USB devices (e.g. USB flash memory). If a USB device is used together with the printer at the same time, it may not be detected properly depending on the combination of a USB device and a computer in use. In this case, use of a USB hub between the USB device and the PC is recommended.

Choose a fully shielded USB cable that best fits your needs or environment.
