LThe memory is full of received documents due to a lack of recording paper or a recording paper jam. Install paper (page 14)

or clear the jammed paper (page 49).

LWhen performing memory transmission, the document being stored exceeded the memory capacity of the unit. Transmit the entire document manually.

LThe inside of the unit is extremely cold and cannot be operated. Use the unit in a warmer area. While the unit cannot be operated, the received documents are temporarily stored into the memory, and will be printed out automatically when the unit warms up.

LWhen making a copy, the document being stored exceeded the memory capacity of the unit. Press {STOP} to clear the message. Divide the document into sections.

MODEM ERROR

LThere is something wrong with the modem circuit. Contact our service personnel.

NO FAX REPLY

LThe other party’s fax machine is busy or has run out of recording paper. Try again.

OUT OF PAPER

LRecording paper is not installed or the unit has run out of paper. Install paper (page 14).

LRecording paper is not fed into the unit properly. Reinstall paper (page 14).

PAPER JAMMED

LA recording paper jam occurred. Clear the jammed paper (page 49).

PLEASE WAIT

LThe unit is warming up. Wait for a while.

POLLING ERROR

LThe other party’s fax machine does not offer the polling function. Check with the other party.

REDIAL TIME OUT

LThe other party’s fax machine is busy or has run out of recording paper. Try again.

REMOVE DOCUMENT

LThe document is jammed. Remove the

jammed document (page 51).

LAttempted to transmit a document longer than 600 mm. Press {STOP} to remove the document. Divide the document into two or more sheets and try again.
