To insert a pause

With some switchboards, after dialling the access code you may have to wait for a moment while the switchboard picks up an outside line. If so, press the Recall button to insert a pause before keying in the telephone number. A pause is shown in the display as a /.

To dial a number stored in the memory

You can dial a stored number in three ways:

1Place the document in the document feeder.

2Press Memory then enter the two-digit reference number for the number you want to send to. If the reference number was 20 you would press Memory, then 2, then 0.

3Press Start and the fax will automatically be sent to the required number.

scroll through the directory in numerical order.

Using your fax machine

3When the name you want to send to is shown on the display press Start and the fax will be sent.

2Press Memory twice then use the and buttons to scroll through the directory in alphabetical order.

3When the name and number you want to send to is shown on the display press Start and the fax will be sent.

To print out a list of names and numbers stored in the directory

Press Function then 5 then 3 then Start. The entries are printed in reference number order.

To add a number to the memory

1Press Function then Memory. The display shows ENTER ABB NB then 00 and the first name in the directory.
