AOpen the front cover by pushing the front cover release button.

B If the paper is in the front side of

the photoconductor unit, careful-

ly pull it out.

Note

When removing misfed paper, be careful not to touch the fus- ing section because it could be very hot.

CWhen the misfed paper is in the main section of the photoconduc- tor unit, turn the dial downward then remove the misfed paper in the printer.

Make sure that you do not leave any misfed paper in the printer.

Note

If it is difficult to turn the dial, turn it slightly upward in the opposite direction, and then try again.

When the Message "REMOVE

MISFEED FROM OUTPUT

TRAY" Appears

RCAUTION:

When removing misfed paper, do not touch the fusing section because it could be very hot.

AOpen the paper exit cover.
