NOTES:

Progressive Slow-Motion Playback is possible only with a tape recorded in High Speed Recording mode (pg. 42).

In Slow-Motion with Wide mode, the area where the image is played back is half the height of the screen.

If images recorded in High Speed Recording mode are played back in a video unit other than this camcorder, the screen will appear divided into 2, and the images are displayed both in the upper and lower halves of the screen.

Since in Slow-Motion with Zoom mode the image is magnified with an aspect ratio of 4:3, the image may become coarse.

If a tape recorded in High Speed Recording mode is dubbed between 2 video units which are not GR-DVL9600, Progressive Slow-Motion Playback of the dubbed tape is not possible.

During Progressive Slow-Motion Playback, the following

functions are disabled: “CLASSIC FILM”, “STROBE” and “VIDEO ECHO” of Playback Special Effects (pg. 57).

If the tape reaches a portion which was not recorded in High Speed Recording mode during Progressive Slow-Motion Playback, Progressive Slow-Motion changes to normal Slow- Motion.

During Progressive Slow-Motion Playback, use the remote control to activate Pause mode. If PLAY/PAUSE on the camcorder is pressed, Slow-Motion will be released and normal Slow-Motion will start.

During reverse search of Progressive Slow-Motion Playback, the camcorder’s display may also be divided into 2, and the images will be displayed both in the upper and lower halves of it.

When “HIGH SPEED” is displayed: To make the indications disappear from the connected TV monitor, press DISPLAY on the remote control. To make the indications disappear from the LCD monitor, press IND. ON/OFF on the camcorder.
