Step 6

Power up the system!

Now you are ready to power up your SSP and your surround system.

Turn the rear panel power switch of the SSP to ON.

The initial power-up cycle of the SSP takes approximately 90 seconds. During this time, the blue LED on the standby button flashes. (For the

CT-SSP, the standby button itself will flash blue.)

When the power-up cycle is complete, the SSP enters Standby mode.

The LED (or standby button) stops flashing but remains illuminated, indicating that the SSP is in Standby mode. Refer to the Front Panel section, for more details about Standby mode.

Press the Standby button or the front panel touchscreen to bring the SSP to its fully ON mode. The front panel touch screen displays a blue screen with an “initializing” message and then switches to the home page of the menu system. Refer to the Menu System section found later in the manual for more information.

The physical setup of the SSP and system components is complete.
