While you can specify default surround processing modes for each input, there are times when you may wish to select a different mode for a particular recording. For example, when watching a classic movie from the 1940s, you may prefer to hear it in mono using only the center channel speaker.
Touch the Mode option on the Home page to open the Mode Select menu, which displays a complete list of processing modes. Modes that are grayed out cannot be applied to the current audio source. For instance, a mode designed for a stereo signal is not available while listening to a
