1.While the Precor banner scrolls, repeatedly press one of the PROGRAMS menu keys to review its list of programs. Choose the program you want, and then press OK. For a description of each program, refer to Programs or review Table 3 with the PROGRAMS Keypad.

Note: After pressing a program menu key, you can also scroll through the list of programs within that menu by pressing the navigational arrow keys.

2.A workout time blinks in the center display if you choose a time-based program. Enter a number between 1—240 minutes or zero (NO LIMIT) by using the navigational arrow keys or the number keys, and then press OK.

Note: To review the NO LIMIT option or to adjust your workout time using the TIME+/- key while exercising, refer to Changing the Workout Time.

If you choose a calorie-goal program, you will prompted for a calorie goal, not a workout time. You can adjust the calories using the number keypad.

3.Enter your weight (1—350) and then your age (1—99).

Note: To change a value (program, weight, or age) that you have already entered press RESET to return to the Precor banner. Select a program and reenter the appropriate values.

4.Hold onto a handrail. The ramp automatically changes to the CrossRamp set for your program.

5.To change a value (program, time, weight, or age) that you have already entered, press RESET and reenter the information. To change the workout time, press the TIME +/- key.

Note: When you select a program without an identifying USER key, you enter the program as a guest user. Cumulative workout statistics and your preferences for weight, age, and gender are not stored in memory. To save this type of information, refer to Selecting a USER Key.

6.Use the CROSSRAMP and RESISTANCE arrow keys to change the ramp incline and resistance.

7.Find a comfortable stride rate between 100 and 150 strides per minute.
