KEYPAD TIPS

Important: The keys on the keypad are touch-sensitive. A light “touch” is all that is required to activate the key function. Key presses to the or key are ignored when the Precor banner is being displayed.

RESET — exits the Setup Mode or accesses the Workout Summary while in Pause mode.

QUICKSTART — bypasses further selections and starts the running belt. Default values apply (see QUICKSTART on page 34). SmartRate® is not active.

ENTER — initiates the Setup mode and allows you to enter display selections.

WORKOUT TIPS

Always attach the security clip to your clothing prior to working out.

Answer Setup prompts by pressing the or keys. (Incline and speed levels are not affected until the course begins.)

Press ENTER to select the information being displayed.

Accurate entries are required or features, such as SmartRate®, will not work properly.

A time-out occurs during the Setup prompts if the C934 detects no key presses for two minutes. The display returns to the Precor banner.

Anytime during setup process, press RESET to return to the Precor banner.

QUICK STEPS TO WORKING OUT

The steps to working out on the C934 are listed below. A short explanation appears on the left with the more thorough description following on the right.

3Attach security clip to clothing.

CAUTION: Hold onto the handrails if you press the QUICKSTART key.The running belt starts automatically.
