HARDWARE KIT

Carefully unpack the parts from the shipping container. Open the Hardware kit and make sure that you have the following items as shown in Diagram 1:

(A) four socket hex screws—upper column assembly

(B) four washers—upper column assembly

(C) four buttonhead hex screws—covers for upright assembly

(D) eight buttonhead hex screws—handlebars

(E) 5/32" hex key—screws on bracket covers

(F) 7/32" hex key—screws on the handlebars ( Note: A hex torque wrench is also required, although it isn’t supplied.)

(G) 1/4” hex key— upper column assembly ( Note: A hex torque wrench is also required, although it isn’t supplied.)

Rubber grommet, upper and lower bracket covers (not shown in Diagram 1)

Note: After assembling the EFX, be sure to store the hex keys in a secure place. The tools are used for maintenance procedures that are described in this manual.

ACQUIRE THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS

Obtain the following tools before assembling the EFX.

Wire cutter

SAE Standard socket set with a ratchet or 8” crescent wrench

Hex torque wrench
