Diagram 4 Secure the console assembly to the base frame.

7.Secure the console assembly to the base frame support. Diagram 4. Place a washer (B) on each of 4 screws (A). Align the mounting holes and insert the screws through the upper and lower bracket. Use the hex key provided to alternately tighten each screws until all four screws are secure.

Important: Once the upper console assembly is secured, use a hex torque wrench to tighten all 4 bolts to 140 in-lbs.

8.Install the bracket covers. Diagram 5. Remove the 2 bracket covers, the split rubber grommet and 4 screws (C) from the Hardware kit. Then, take the following steps:

a.Use 2 screws (C) to attach the rear bracket cover to the center tube. See Diagram 5, #1. Tighten the screws with the hex key provided.

b.Position the split rubber grommet around the upright support tube. Slide the grommet against the rear bracket cover to help secure it in place.

c.Use the remaining 2 screws to install the front bracket cover. Align the mounting holes and tighten the screws. See Diagram 5, #2.

CAUTION: Do not overtighten the screws or you may inadvertently crack the plastic covers.
