Headset RJ-9 port

 

Important: Contact AltiGen for the most current list of certified

 

headsets.

 

 

The pin outlet for headset support is:

 

 

Pin 1 (Tx-), Pin 2 (Rx1), Pin 3 (Rx2), Pin 4 (Tx+)

 

Note:

If using Plantronics H91N or H101N headsets, a separate

 

 

 

Plantronics cable should be used and must be ordered

 

 

 

separately (part # 27190-01) in order to plug in these

 

 

 

headsets to the headset port.

Troubleshooting

The following table provides help for the most common problems an end user may encounter. For IP 720 phone questions or problems not listed here, contact AltiGen Technical Support.

Problem/Symptom

Solution

 

 

AW is unreachable

Check to make sure the MAXCS IP address (AW

 

address) in the IP phone is set up correctly.

 

Check the IP 720 phone’s IP address, network mask

 

and default gateway.

 

Check to make sure you can ping the IP 720 phone’s

 

address from MAXCS.

 

Check to make sure the IP Phone Services is started

 

in MAXCS.

 

Check MAXCS IP address in MaxAdministrator’s

 

IP Phone Configuration menu.
