2.If a hardkey lights, it means that key is already assigned a Speed Dial number. Press the hardkey you wish to program as a Speed Dial key. Each Speed Dial key will store 32 digits. The display will only show 21 digits of the number. The complete number can be viewed by using the volume control key.

NOTE: If you select an unlit key that is not available, a Call Appearance for example, the display will show “<Try Another Key>”. After a few seconds the phone will select the first available key automatically. If this key is satisfactory, proceed with the programming. If this key is not satisfactory, press the MORE key to abort the selection. You will then be given the opportunity to select another key.

If a number is entered that exceeds the 21 digits displayed, the display scrolls to the left and show the last 21 digits entered. The first of the digits will be scrolled off of the display.
