Setting pauses

Note

If you want to insert a pause into a telephone number you are storing in your directory, start storing the number (see page 16) and where a

pause is needed press and hold the RECALL button, the pause is added

and stored with the number.

To set a pause before dialling

To set a pause after pressing Recall

You can set the length of a pause that is inserted after

Rpressing the RECALL button.

MENU Press the MENU options button.

Enter the pause length:

You can insert a pause to allow your switchboard time to get a line before your BT Diverse 5250 dials the number.

Press the MENU options button.

Press the 8 button.

Press the 9 button.

Press the 1 button.

Press the 1 button.

Enter the number for the pause length (e.g. 4 for 6 seconds.):

1= 1 second

2 = 2 seconds

3 = 3 seconds

4 = 6 seconds.

Press the OK options button to confirm the setting. ‘Entry Saved’ is displayed.

1= 800ms

2 = 1600ms

3 = 3200ms

OK Press the OK options button to confirm the setting.
