Finding and calling from a phonebook entry

Base unit / Handset

Once you have found the desired entry using one of the following 3 methods, make a call with your unit.

Base unit: Lift the corded handset.

R You can also make a call by pressing MLINE 1N or MLINE 2N, then lifting the corded handset.

Handset: MN

R You can also make a call by pressing MCALLN, then pressing MLINE 1N or MLINE 2N.

Scrolling through all entries

1Proceed with the operation for your unit. Base unit: MN

Handset: MMENUN#280

2MbN: Select the desired entry.

Searching by first character

1Proceed with the operation for your unit. Base unit: MN

Handset: MMENUN#280

2Press the dial key (0 – 9) which contains the character you are searching for (page 23). R Press the same dial key repeatedly to

display the first entry corresponding to each character located on that dial key.

R If there is no entry corresponding to the character you selected, the next entry is displayed.

3MbN: Scroll through the phonebook if necessary.

Searching by group

1Proceed with the operation for your unit. Base unit: MN

2MGROUPN

3MbN: Select the group you want to search. a

MSELECTN

R If you select All groups, the unit ends the group search.

4MbN: Select the desired entry.

Editing entries

3Edit the name if necessary (16 characters max.; page 23). a MOKN

4Edit the phone number if necessary (24 digits max.). a MOKN
