AF DUAL FUNCTION
With the “AF DUAL” function, it is possible to monitor your desired amateur band fre- quency while receiving AM, FM broadcast or Audio from the external input jack.
You may select: AM broadcast, FM broadcast, Club Channel or external line input, by changing the Menu Item “F2 AF DUAL” (The factory default is AM broadcast receiving).

4. | Rotate the DIAL knob to select the desired AM Broadcast station. |
PYou may switch the AM Broadcast Band frequency control between the VFO and Memory channel by pressing the key.
PWhen a signal is received in the amateur band, the AM Broadcast audio is muted. When the amateur band signal drops, the AF Dual function is resumed (monitor the amateur band frequency while receiving the AM broadcast).
PYou may transmit on the frequency set in step1 by pressing the PTT key, even if the AF Dual function is activated.
