13.1 Conservación de herramientas

Las hojas de sierra utilizadas en la sierra circular de mesa deberían ser liberadas regularmente de resina. Las herramientas se sumergen para ello en solución de sosa o bencina de ensayos. Después de unas 24 horas los restos de resina pueden ser frotados con un paño o una pieza de madera.

Hojas de sierra limpias y afiladas mejoran la calidad del corte y las prestaciones.
