Table 1-2 describes possible errors and corrective actions if an error occurs during a call to APRI.

	APRI Call		Reason	Corrective Action
	ap_open()		Incorrect installation or OTS	Run otsstat to see if
			stack is not up.	OTS stack is up. Run
				otsstart to start OTS
				stack.
	ap_set_env()		Incorrect address specified.	Recheck the value of
			(parameter ap_my_psap)	ap_my_psap.
	ap_poll()		Time out (osidiag defaults to	Increase time if needed.
			30 seconds for indication or
			confirmation).
			Unanticipated primitive	Check osidiag display
			(osidiag received an	immediately after the
