•/.rhosts - Editing this file allows root access to other systems. Root permissions are required to edit many of the configuration files described in this section. It is very handy to allow root access to all systems so it’s easy to use remsh to access each of them. A copy of this file is on each system.
Optionally, you may choose to remove this file from each system to disallow root access from other systems.
