WARNING
Fire Risk.
•High ash fuels, or lack of maintenance, can cause the firepot to fill with ash and clinker. If the firepot fills to the top, immediately shut down the unit and clean.
•Failure to do so could result in smoking, sooting and possible hopper fires.

a.Shut down the appliance by turning down the thermostat and let the appliance completely cool down. After the appliance has cooled down, unplug it and remove the ash pan.
b.The wire leads to the igniter are connected to the wire harness with 1/4 inch male / female spade connectors. These wires will pull forward approximately 4 to 5 inches (102mm to 127mm). Disconnect the spade connections and remove the igniter from the chamber. Loosen the thumb screw and slide igniter out.
c.Install new igniter into the chamber and tighten the thumb screw.
