HOW TO OPERATE
VACUUMING WITH ACCESSORIES
NOTE: The two accessory parts may be used on the suction hose and cleaning wand.
NOTE: For safety reasons when vacuuming stairs, leave the upright vacuum cleaner on the bottom stair.
•Bring the upright vacuum cleaner into its vertical locking position. The brushroll switches off automatically in this position, thus preventing any damage to the carpet while cleaning with hose or tools.
•To switch the upright vacuum cleaner on again when you resume vacuuming, tilt it back. The brushroll switches on again automatically.

Straighten the hose and hook the hose clip into the fastening ring to prevent the upright vacuum cleaner from toppling over during use.

To access tools, rock upholstery tool away from cleaner. To remove tools, grasp tool and pull up and out of accessory clip.
Then attach the accessory to the suction hose.
The rotating upholstery tool may be turned through 360˚ to allow vacuuming in poorly accessible areas such as corners, edges, stairs and vertical surfaces.
