Requisitos para la instalaci6n el6ctrica

Para evitar problemas con la instalacion, no opere el abre- puertas de garaje ahora.

Para reducir el riesgo de electrocuci6n, el abre-puertas de garaje viene con enchufe con pata de conexion a tierra. Este enchufe s61o se puede conectar a un tomacorriente con conexidn de puesta a tierra. Si el enhcufe no entra en el tomacorriente de su instalacion, contrate un electricista profesional para que instale el tomacorriente adecuado.

Si la reglamentacion municipal exige que su abre-puertas tenga cableado permanente, siga los siguientes pasos.

Para efectuar una conexion permanente usando la entrada superior de 7/8 de pulg. en la parte superior del motor:

•Quite los tornillos de la tapa del motor y desmonte la tapa.

•Quite el corddn de 3 patas.

•Conecte el cable negro de Ifnea al tornillo del terminal de bronce; el cable blanco (neutro) al tornillo del terminal plateado, y el cable de tierra al tornillo verde. El abre- puertas debe tener conexion a tierra.

•Vuelva a colocar la tapa.

Para evitar problemas con la instalacion, no poner el abre-

puertas en funcionamiento antes del Paso 11.

Termine la instalaci6n del sensor del

sistema de reversa de seguridad

COMe ALINEAR LOS SENSORES DE SEGURIDAD

•Conecte el abridor; las luces del sensor emisory del sensor receptorse deben de encender y permanecer encendidas si

todas las conexiones del cableado y la alineaci6n se han hecho correctamente.

La luz ambar del sensor que emite el rayo se encendera aunque este obstruido o fuera de alineacion, pero si la luz verde del sensor receptor del rayo esta apagada, parpadea o se ve baja, (y no hay ninguna obstrucci6n en el recorrido del rayo de luz invisible) sera necesario alinearlos.

•Afloje la tuerca de mariposa del sensor emisery reajuste el sensor. Apunte directamente al otro sensory apriete la tuerca de mariposa.

•Afloje la tuerca de mariposa del sensor receptor del rayo, y reajuste hasta que reciba el rayo del sensor emiser. Una vez que la luz verde brille permanentemente, apriete la tuerca de mariposa.

Para evitar la posibilidad de una LESIONGRAVE0 INCLUSOLA MUERTEper electrocuci6n o incendio:

•AsegOresede que el abre-puertas no est6conectado a la energia el6ctrica y desconecte la alimentaci6n el6ctrica al circuito ANTES de quitar la cubierta para establecer la conexi6n del cableado permanente.

•Tanto la instalaci6n come el cableado de la puerta de garaje DEBENcumplir con todos los c6digos locales el6ctricos y de construcci6n.

•NUNCA use una extensi6n ni un adaptador de dos hilos, tampoco modifique la clavija para poder enchufarla. AsegOresede que el abre-puertas est6 puesto a tierra.

DIAGNOSTICO DE FALLAS CON RESPECTO A LOS SENSORES DEL SISTEMA DE REVERSA DE SEGURIDAD

1.Si la luz verde del sensor que emite el rayo no permanece encendida despues de la instalacion, verifique Io siguiente:

•El suministro de corriente electrica al abridor.

•Que haya un corto circuito en alguno de los cables, ya sea el banco, o el blanco y negro. Esto ocurre frecuentemente donde hay alguna grapa.

•Algun error en la conexion de los cables de los sensores al abridor.

•Algt]n cable rote.

2.Si la luz indicadora del sensor que emite el rayo enciende y permanece encendida, pero la luz del otto sensor no enciende:

•Verifique que esten correctamente alineados.

•Verifique que no haya un corto en el cable del sensor receptor.

3.Si la luz indicadora del sensor receptor esta debil o baja, verifique la alineaci6n de los sensores.

NOTA: Si la trayectoria del rayo invisible se ve obstruida o esta fuera de alineacidn, al tratar de cerrar la puerta esta se abrira automaticamente. Si la puerta esta abierta, simplemente no se podra cerrar, y las luces de abridor parpadearan diez veces (vea la pagina 15).
