Defrost function

For toasting frozen bread, press the defrost button: the defrost symbol will appear on the screen - Fig. 10

Select the desired toasting level and press the bread control lever down. Extra time for toasting will automatically be selected in order to defrost and then toast your bread. Once the cycle is engaged the remaining toasting time will appear on the display.

At the end of the cycle, the bread will pop up and the toaster will switch off.

Leave the bread in the slots for approximately 30 seconds before removing it.

Reheat function

For reheating toast (short fixed time), press the “reheat” button: the reheat symbol will appear on the display - Fig. 11

Press the bread control lever down (you don’t need to select a toasting level). The appliance will operate for a preset period of time and will show the remaining toasting time on the screen.

At the end of the cycle, the bread will pop up and the toaster will switch off.

Bagel/baguette function*

Insert your bagel or your baguette, cut in half, in the toaster with the cut sides facing the central divider.

Press the “bagel” button. The LED will turn on. Select the desired toasting level and press the bread control lever down until it locks - Fig. 12

The browning time will be automatically adapted on the selected browning level and will appear on the display.

At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up.

If the bagel is too heavy, lift the lever up manually to remove the bread.

Waffle, crumpet or brioche toasting feature*

Insert your crumpets, your waffles or your slices of brioche in the toaster.

Press the “waffle/crumpet/brioche button” - Fig. 13 . The LED comes on.

Select the desired toasting level and press the bread control lever down until it locks.

The remaining time for toasting your waffles, your crumpets or your slices of brioche will appear on the display.

At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up.

Memory function

This function enables you to pre-set four different toasting settings.

Choosing a pre-set Memory setting: Press the “memo” button until the desired pre-set memory setting appears (1-4). The functions you have pre-selected and input into this setting will be displayed - Fig. 14 Start the toasting cycle by pressing down the control lever until it locks.

Programming the Memory Settings: To program a setting, select the desired Memory setting (ie: Memo 1, Memo 2, Memo 3 or Memo 4) by pressing the Memory button once for Memo 1, twice for Memo 2… and hold the button down for a few seconds. The program number will flash on the screen - Fig. 15 Choose the functions you want to pre-set (toasting level, defrost, reheat, bagel, etc.) by pushing the corresponding buttons. Once you have finished programming the functions, press the “memo” button for a few seconds to record the setting. The program number will stop flashing - Fig. 16 To set another memory program, press the “memo” button and repeat directions as above.

To quit the memo mode at anytime, press the “Cancel/Stop” button.

Changing a Memory setting after it has been set:

Select the setting you want to modify by pushing the “memo” button until you reach the required memory setting (1-4) - Fig. 17 The program will appear on the screen with the pre-set functions recorded.

Press the “memo” button for few seconds until the program number flashes on the screen - Fig. 18
