NO utilice acopladores del tipo de soldadura, pues la aplicación de calor al productor o al recipiente puede provocar daños en las conexiones internas.

Para obtener un buen flujo, el sistema de desagüe debe tener una caída de 2 cm por cada 30 cm de carrera horizontal.

Los desagües no deben estar conectados directamente al sistema de alcantarillado. Entre el extremo de la tubería de desagüe del productor o el depósito de hielo y el desagüe del suelo debe existir una separación libre mínima de 5 cm verticales (vea la figura 11).

Este productor de hielo se debe instalar de acuerdo con los reglamentos nacionales, provinciales y locales que sean de aplicación.

En determinadas zonas puede ser necesario un limitador de contraflujo en el circuito del agua de refrigeración.
