Automatic shut off
If a heating element is left on for an extended period without any change in the temperature setting, it is automatically shut off.
The luminous disc behind the knob flashes.
Turn the knob to 0. Now the cooktop can be turned back on.
The time at which shut off is activated depends on the temperature setting (1 to 4 hours).
