DOLBY SURROUND Y DTS SURROUND

Esta unidad dispone de un decodificador Dolby Pro Logic, de un decodificador Dolby Digital y decodificador DTS.

Los altavoces central y perimétricos (estándar) aseguran sonido de cine a plena escala para el hogar. Cuando reproduzca discos o software de vídeo grabados con Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital surround o DTS surround, un sonido sorprendentemente realista rodeará al oyente para crear un nuevo nivel de entretenimiento audiovisual.

El control independiente de los cinco canales permitirá al oyente disfrutar del mismo tipo de reproducción de sonido que el experimentado en salas de cine. Las voces se reproducirán en el campo acústico delantero y central, mientras que los sonidos ambientales como el de automóviles o multitudes se reproducirá por todos los lados del oyente y le ofrecen una experiencia audiovisual increíblemente realista. Lea cuidadosamente lo siguiente para “sintonizar” la salida del sistema de acuerdo con las características de su espacio de escucha.

Compruebe lo siguiente:

•Antes de disfrutar de sonido DOLBY surround o DTS surround, ajuste los niveles de sonido de los altavoces al equilibrio apropiado (consulte la pá gina 16).

•Cerciórese de que los altavoces estén adecuadamente conectados y ubicados (consulte las páginas 4 y 5).

•Cerciórese de que el televisor y la unidad de vídeo estén adecuadamente conectados (consulte la página 3).

•Cerciórese de que el disco, la videocinata, etc., sean del sistema Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital surround o DTS surround.

SURROUND

Los modos y ajustes óptimos de Dolby Digital surround y Dolby Pro Logic dependen del tipo y la ubicación de los altavoces. Se recomienda el uso de altavoces AIWA opcionales para todos los canales, por ejemplo, el sistema de altavoces SX-AVR2900.

Compruebe su tipo y ubicación actual de los altavoces y seleccione el modo recomendado para su caso.

Modo PHANTOM: Seleccione este modo cuando no haya conectado un altavoz central. Todas las señales del canal central se redistribuirán a los altavoces de los canales izquierdo y derecho.

Modo 3 STEREO: Seleccione este modo cuando no haya conectado altavoces perimétricos.

PARA SELECCIONAR UN MODO DOLBY SURROUND

Preparativos

•Cuando seleccione un modo Dolby Digital Surround, elija la función VIDEO 1 (DIGITAL), VIDEO 2 (DIGITAL) o VIDEO 3 (DIGITAL) (consulte la página 12) y ponga en reproducció n un disco grabado dcon Dolby Digital Surround antes de seleccionar el modo.

•Cuando haya seleccionado el modo Dolby Pro Logic, elija cualquire función excepto VIDEO 1 (DIGITAL), VIDEO 2 (DIGITAL) y VIDEO 3 (DIGITAL).

1 Presione el botó n SURROUND y gire MULTI JOG para seleccionar el modo apropiado.

El nombre del modo seleccionado aparece en el visualizador.

DOLBY D PHANTOM 3 STEREO

Para seleccionar el modo 2chSTEREO, presione repetidamente el botón SURROUND hasta que aparezca “2chSTEREO”.

Seleccione el modo Dolby Digital Surround mientras reproduce una fuente grabada en Dolby Digital Surround.

PRO LOGIC PHANTOM 3 STEREO

2Mantenga presionado el botó n SURROUND hasta que aparezca el modo de altavoz central deseado.

(Excepto los modos 2chSTEREO y PHANTOM.)

Aparecerán “NORMAL” y “WIDE”, uno tras atro.

Al emplear el controlador remoto

Presione el botón SURROUND varias veces para seleccionar el modo, y manténgalo presionado para seleccionar el modo de altavoz central.
