error, a message is sent to the console and you are returned to the boot monitor.

Errors include:

■The ﬁle does not exist.

■The ﬁle has the wrong format.

■The ﬁle has a bad checksum.

Conﬁgure Flash Load

Syntax CL

Description The CL command allows you to conﬁgure the following settings to identify a TFTP server for downloading or dumping memory:

4.Subnet Mask

5.Boot Filename

6.Port Selection

7.Baud Rate

8.Duplex Mode

Clear EEPROM

Syntax CP

Description The CP command erases the EEPROM except for the MAC address. You

should only do this if advised by 3Com technical support.

Display Files

Syntax DF [<subdir>]

Description The DF command displays information about ﬁles on a ﬁle system or in a speciﬁed directory. It also displays the available free space in the ﬁle system.

Dump

Syntax DU

Description The DU command performs a memory dump to a TFTP server speciﬁed in the CL command. See “Performing a Memory Dump” on page 145 to conﬁgure a memory dump in the software and to set up the TFTP server.
