Alert Settings window

The Alert Settings window displays when Alert Settings is selected from the Alert menu. This window is used for setting up and maintaining email addresses of contacts who will receive automated notifications if problems on the network are detected during the ProxyBlocker’s self-moni- toring process.

The following processes are monitored by the Proxy-

Blocker:

•CPU Processes - If any CPU process fails to run, the ProxyBlocker alerts the administrator about the failed process, and that an attempt will be made to reload the necessary process. The last few lines of any pertinent logs are included in the message to assist the adminis- trator in troubleshooting the problem. In most cases, the reload procedure will fix the error, and no futher interven-
