SNMP

SNMP window

The SNMP window displays when SNMP is selected from the navigation panel. This feature lets the global adminis- trator use a third party Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) product for monitoring and managing the working status of the ProxyBlocker's filtering on a network.

The following aspects of the ProxyBlocker are monitored by SNMP: data traffic sent/received by a NIC, CPU load average at a given time interval, amount of free disk space for each disk partition, time elapse since the box was last rebooted, and the amount of memory currently in usage.
