USB Module Removal

Prerequisite:

Upper Cover Removal

1.Locate USB module (B) on lower cover as shown on Figure 3-31.

2.Disconnect module FFC (A) from module connector (B). Refer to Figure 3-33.

3.Disconnect module FFC (A) from mainboard connector (C).

NOTE: NOTE:

The USB module FFC is part of the lower cover FRU (Field Replacement Unit) component. Do not remove it.

4.Remove screw (D) (M2.5*6.0-I) from lower cover.

5.Remove module from lower cover.

USB Module Installation

1.Install module (B) on lower cover. Refer to Figure 3-31.

2.Connect module FFC (A) to module connector (B). Refer to Figure 3-33.

3.Connect module FFC (A) to mainboard connector (C).

4.Install and secure screw (D) (M2.5*6.0-I) to lower cover.

5.Install upper cover.
