1.If the floppy drive module is installed in the module bay, remove it by following the steps described in the next section.

2.Open the port cover on the rear of the computer, and connect the 25-pin connector end of the floppy drive cable to the computer’s parallel port.

3.Connect the other end of the cable to the floppy drive module.

Swapping Modules

The TravelMate 7300 Series notebook computer allows you to hot-swap modules in and out of the module bay. With hot-swap functionality, you do not need to turn off your computer or put the computer in suspend mode to swap modules.

The module bay icon located on the taskbar of your Windows 95 desktop shows what device is currently installed in the module bay:
