Megabit Modem CRA-C SNMP Agent

An agent is program resident in managed devices (for example, Megabit Modem CRA-C, modems, nodes, routers and hubs). Agents translate data into code the NMS can read. Agents and NMS communicate using SNMP as the transport mechanism. SNMP uses standard Internet Protocol (IP) to transport incoming and outgoing messages to the appropriate agent or NMS address. Each SNMP command requires an IP address or NMS from the agent to transport these messages.
